About this product

A purpose built solar inverter cover that looks great too. Our covers are made from 5000 level marine grade aluminium and powdercoated in the Surf Mist Colorbond colour. The design includes clearance on all sides to allow space for airflow which keeps your inverter cool and an opening front panel for easy inverter access. It also allows clearance for electrical conduits and switches.

How to install

Installation instructions will be provided with your order. Your cover will arrive as 4 main cover pieces along with bolts & screws for assembly and wall screws for mounting. Firstly the 4 main cover pieces are pieced together using bolts and screws. Then insert 4 screws into your wall at the mounting location and mount the cover onto the screws using the mounting points on each leg.

 

How to view your inverter 

To view your inverter, simply remove the thumb screws at the bottom of the front panel. Lift the front panel for easy access to your inverter.

Great option

Bought the large unit to protect both the inverter and the associated switchgear. Well packaged , assembly really easy, no damage and power coating quality excellent.
Will look to buy a unit to protect our battery when purchased.

Does the job well

This cover is a good product and provides the required protection for my inverter. Only issue I had was having to assemble the cover several times to get the opening section to work.

Good Cover

Well constructed cover just a tad short for my tall old Fronius but fine. One swing arm leg bent and a slight dent down front cover from shipping. No worries though as I was able to straighten OK. Maybe should should review shipping co. especially re long distance, e.g. Perth delivery.

I had to make a strut to hold front cover up as there was not enough room for cover to fold back against wall.

Lovley solution

When looking for something to protect our new solar system we stumbled upon sunny covers. The cover matches the surfmist roof and lower cladding of our house and blends right in! Very happy with this solution, as we don't have eves, and my solar company wanted us to build a small roof over it!
